Venezuela, My Heart Remains There

When Mother Earth Also Needs to Move
There are moments in the history of our planet when the earth itself decides to reorganize. It is not a punishment. It is not divine abandonment. It is the eternal cycle of transformation that governs all that exists in the universe.
Venezuela — that blessed land of color, music, flavor and love — is living through one of those moments. And we, those who carry it tattooed on our souls, feel that trembling in the deepest part of our chest.
I have no perfect words for this moment. I only have my open heart, my unbreakable love for that land, and the spiritual certainty that nothing — absolutely nothing — happens without a higher purpose.
Souls That Have Departed
When a catastrophe occurs, there are those who ask: where is God? But from a spiritual understanding, we know that chance does not exist. Every soul that arrives on this plane comes with a sacred contract, a mission, a predetermined time.
The souls that departed did not get lost. They returned to the great ocean of light from which we all come. Their departure, though painful for those of us who remain, is part of a greater purpose that our rational mind cannot always comprehend.
To honor their memory is to keep loving. To remember their names. To say them with tenderness — because love transcends death and remains alive in every heart that beats with gratitude.
What We Can Do From the Spiritual Plane
From the energetic plane, each one of us has the power to contribute to collective healing. Energy is real. Intention is powerful. And when many unite in the same purpose of love and elevation, that force multiplies exponentially.
Everything in the universe vibrates at specific frequencies. Fear, sadness and chaos vibrate at low frequencies. Love, gratitude and compassion vibrate at high frequencies. When we raise our own frequency, we create an energetic field that influences everything around us.
Quantum physics shows us that the observer affects the observed reality. We are not passive witnesses to what is happening in Venezuela. We are co-creators who, from wherever we are, can send healing energy, light and unconditional love.
By raising our frequencies collectively, we accelerate healing processes. What in the physical world might take years to rebuild — infrastructure, communities, lives — can manifest more quickly and fluidly when there is a field of high vibration sustaining it. Energy precedes matter. What first heals on the spiritual plane later reflects in the reality we can see and touch.
Concrete practices to send light from wherever you are:
Light Meditation: Visualize Venezuela bathed in golden and white light. Hold that image for 5 to 10 minutes. Send love from your heart without conditions.
Distance Reiki: If you are a Reiki practitioner, send healing energy with clear and loving intention toward the land and the affected people.
Sacred Aromatherapy: Use essential oils such as lavender, myrrh, frankincense or rose while you meditate. These fragrances raise the vibration of the space and deepen the meditative state, potentiating the healing intention.
Prayer from the Heart: It doesn't matter what your spiritual tradition is. Sincere prayer that comes from the heart always reaches where it needs to go.
Healing Sound: Tibetan bowls, chanting mantras, or simply listening to high-frequency music — 432 Hz — can amplify the field of collective healing.
Each one of these practices, done with love and consistency, becomes a thread of light woven into the invisible web that sustains Venezuela.
The Love That Unfolds
In the midst of every tragedy, there are always silent heroes. People who rise before dawn to help a neighbor. Families who share their last piece of bread. Strangers who become brothers in a matter of hours.
That is Venezuela. That is its deepest essence. And no disaster can erase that.
Venezuelans abroad — those of us who carry that land in our soul though we walk on other soils — are also part of that chain of love. Every phone call, every economic transfer, every silent prayer, every tear shed with love... all of it is woven into the invisible web that sustains our people.
An Invitation to Self-Care
In moments of collective crisis, it is very common to forget about ourselves. Another person's pain hurts doubly when we love deeply.
That is why I want to invite you to take care of yourself too. Cry if you need to cry. Feel what you feel without judging yourself. And then, return to your center.
Because only from a place of inner peace can we truly be useful to others.
Some practices for this moment:
Allow yourself to feel: Pain is part of love. Don't suppress it or rationalize it. Let it flow.
Limit time on social media: Overexposure to suffering exhausts the nervous system and diminishes our capacity to act from love.
Connect with nature: Go for a walk, touch the earth, breathe fresh air. Nature always recalibrates the soul.
Practice gratitude: Not as a denial of pain, but as an anchor in everything that is still good and beautiful in your life.
Seek support: Talk with someone you trust. Consider holistic healing sessions to process what you feel.
Venezuela has always known how to rise again. It carries it in its blood, in its music, in its way of laughing even when it hurts. And it will rise again.
